NOSTRA AETATE ( Latin )

Most individuals familiar with  the declaration of the Catholic church to Non- Christian Religions regard it as a milestone that has altered forever the way Catholics view Jews. It condemned antisemitism and rejected the deicide charge that held all Jews responsible for Jesus` crucifixion and under a divine curse. It recognized the continued vitality of Jewish covental life with God and also referenced Paul’s letter to the Romans. At the turn of the fourth century Augustine of Hippo taught that Jews  continued to serve a purpose by practicing their, tradition which he understood as a prophetic witnessing to the coming of  Christ as savior as foretold in the Old Testament. What I am saying comes from Catherine Chatterley`s Antisemitism Studies series of books called Antisemitism Studies. Realize this. This comes from a Pope the highest leader in the Catholic Church

It is beyond my limited comprehension of Jewish history and the growth of antisemitism all over the world that the Jewish Organizations fighting the Jewish problems of antisemitism have never approached to my knowledge the Catholic Church. More information can be found by contacting Gavin DCosta  who wrote a book on the subject  called "Catholic Doctrines on the Jewish people after Vatican 11"According to my reading Gavin D`Costa wrote this piece ban 11s declaration on the book through Oxford University Press

Short Bio: I was born in Toronto in 1931 to a wonderful mother who divorced shortly before my birth. I owe a great deal of my success to her. I am Jewish but not at all religious, yet my culture plays an important part of my personality. I attended Harbord Collegiate and U. of T. Faculty of Pharmacy. A unique mail-order pharmacy was the first of my endeavours in the profession, followed by many stores throughout Ontario. I have a loving wife, 3 children and grand-children and I am now retired from pharmacy. But what do I write about? Everything! My topics are funny, serious, whimsical, timely, outrageous, inspiring, and inventive. I promise that if you take the time to read any one of these topics – you will not be sorry.
