ANTI-ZIONISM CAN BE ANTI-SEMITISM

There is a perception in the gentile world that Jewish people are paranoid about anti-Semitism and that Jews believe that all criticisms of the policies of Israel are based on an anti-Semitic foundation. A simple rule will expose true anti-Semitism. If Israel or Jewish people are expected to act or react in a manner which is not consistent with the way most nations or people act, ipso facto, you are dealing with anti-Semitism. Israel can lose a battle, but never a war. Japan, Italy and Germany lost the Second World War, but nobody spoke of dismembering their nation at the time. From the moment the state of Israel was declared, the Arab nations “wanted to throw the Jews into the sea”. The prospect for a separate Palestinian state was not even contemplated in any manner by Arab nations until Israel won her first war for independence. The Arab nations accepted the idea of a Palestinian state in order to use the refugees as a weapon against Israel. If the attacking Arab states had accepted a Palestinian state along side Israel, the issue would have been resolved in 1948 but the Arab powers did not accept a Jewish state in the Middle East. The attacking Arab states wanted the land for themselves. Jordan took over the west bank and East Jerusalem. The autocratic Arab leaders do not want a democratic country in their midst, as it might set an example for the powerless Arab masses. It is my personal belief that if the Arabs had won in 1948 there would be no Israel and as a matter of course no Palestine. The land would have been divided between the conquering nations.

The idea of proportionality was advanced by non-governmental organizations (NGO`s) such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch (HRW). These organizations are so credible and moral when it comes to violations outside the Middle East. When Russia and South Africa fell off the human rights fund-raising map, they needed new targets to keep the donations coming. They were incredibly successful. Human Rights Watch executive director Ken Roth has a $350,000 yearly salary package. With a base of people worldwide who are permanently anti-Semitic and the fact that Israel is no longer seen militarily as the under-dog, they saw Israel as a perfect villain. These organizations need to be on good terms with the Palestinians because they are based in their countries. It is not possible to criticize an Arab regime from within, but you can say anything about Israel freely from within, with no repercussions, as Israel, which is a true democracy, has freedom of speech. Israelis take advantage of this right and can, and do, criticize their government. Arab newspapers have no such ability to freely express themselves.

The human rights NGO`s produced impressive battlefield reports based on unverifiable eyewitness information. They stated that Israel was acting in a criminal fashion by hitting Gazan civilian areas, but the organizations did not stress that Gaza neighborhoods were the source of missiles fired into Israel, which began as soon as Israel left Gaza. The fence that the Israelis built to protect themselves from suicide bombers is another bone of contention that the NGO`s have with Israel. What normal country would not try and protect their citizens? The fence has reduced suicide bombings by 98.5% Also never mentioned are the fences that exist today between India and Pakistan at Kashmir a disputed area, South Korea and North Korea, Spain and Morocco, Saudi Arabia from Yemen and Iraq and last but certainly not least the U.S. from Mexico. It is true some Palestinian land is on the Israeli side of the fence but changes can be made and have been made by the Israeli Supreme Court. The Palestinians insist on their right of return to Israel or compensation but not a word about the 865,000 Jews thrown out of Arab countries having to leave behind land and assets.

The Human Rights organizations call for a two state solution, both entities in secure and negotiated borders, but they do not question the actions of Fatah which raise doubts as to the real intentions of the government of the Palestinian Authority. On Aug 4-5 2009 Fatah convened its sixth General Conference, the first such gathering in 20 years.
In order to give the Israelis confidence that Fatah is serious about establishing peace with their country, Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of Fatah and the Palestinian Authority, must publicly eliminate five principles that are basic foundations to the continuation of the conflict. Fatah must use a map of the Middle East that shows a State if Israel, Fatah must eliminate the call for the destruction of Israel, Fatah must not endorse violence and terror, Palestinian schools must stop an education campaign of hate against Israel and Fatah must recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. To this day there is no reliable partner for peace talks.
