ORTHODONTIST FIGHTS BACK- Dr.PAUL HELPARD VANCOUVER- GIVE EM HELL

On Jan 6th 2023 on Page B3 of the Toronto Globe and Mail is an article, a full page. It is also  in my blog that corporations are taking over the health care professions. My article starts with “Pharmacists and soon Dentists under cororporate control, Yes they are Audiologists and Chiropractors are next”. Dr Helpard judging by his picture is a young man, and good looking as well, is making the same observations that I made earlier. But Paul Helpard is attacking the issue, full force. He has come up with a solution, that is beyond my capacity to fulfill as I am as of Jan1,2023 92 years old. State or Provincial law, will mandate to have corporation shares owned by by people with a health-care degrees. Thus the professions do not lose control and the share owners are interested in more than making money. Dr Helfard has looked into a dental service organizations DSOs and orthodontic corporations OSOs. Dr Helpard met with Alan Ulsifer an  optometrist who founded the FYi doctors   , chain of eye care clinics. Dr Helpard and 17 other dentists founded Corus Orthodontics an organization which has expanded greatly. Dentists have very precise equipment and only dentists have the knowledge of what to buy .Humans die, corporations can be forever and having corporate control in the hands of physicians , dentists and other professions is best for the professions and the public.

Name: Murray Rubin

Short Bio: I was born in Toronto in 1931 to a wonderful mother who divorced shortly before my birth. I owe a great deal of my success to her. I am Jewish but not at all religious, yet my culture plays an important part of my personality. I attended Harbord Collegiate and U. of T. Faculty of Pharmacy. A unique mail-order pharmacy was the first of my endeavours in the profession, followed by many stores throughout Ontario. I have a loving wife, 3 children and grand-children and I am now retired from pharmacy. But what do I write about? Everything! My topics are funny, serious, whimsical, timely, outrageous, inspiring, and inventive. I promise that if you take the time to read any one of these topics – you will not be sorry.
