INTERNET- TELEVISION-RADIO– IN ORDER TO SELL– EXAGGERATE AND SOMETIMES JUST LIE–ALWAYS
I am not a Psychiatrist, social worker or a person who has studied human activities in any fundamental way, and if you are a reader of my blog you will see that I have discussed this topic more than once and even more than twice. But I cannot help being amazed by the naivety of our human species. As a pharmacist I can guarantee that drugs that are sold for major illnesses through a doctor`s prescription have to go through many clinical trials ( to be honest some results are faked) but you cannot just make statements to satisfy the buying public or in the case of illnesses, the medical profession. Now I want to be very clear. If the results of these products are not as stated in the ads nobody will die. I emphasize NOBODY–So lets get started
CREST TOOTH PASTE
Cleans gums below the gum line . I believe the dentist when he states that your gums surrounding the teeth have to be healthy but to use a tooth paste that is claimed goes below the gum line and cleans out whatever finds its way in there is beyond belief. How many clinical trials by dentists took place that will verify the claims of the manufacturer of Crest. Now I do not deny that gums have to be healthy for healthy teeth but that is the job of the dentist or the hygienist who, I can attest to, are paid well to look after your gums. As a pharmacist I would state that a chemical in Crest that could find its way below the gum line to clean whatever found its way there probably should be avoided.

I drive a Lexus which is over 2o years old and it still drives well but there are many scratches on the body. On my computer I get ads offering to fix the odd scratch on my car by rubbing in a product called Nano Sparkle cloth. In the ad for the cloth the manufacturer said the body shops are not giving away the secret how effective it is. The cloth contains a super-fine metallic powder that buffs out the scratches without damaging the paint. The scientific solution according to Nano, states that the sodium ions within the powder reactivates the paint molecules and replaces them with the colour of the car. And it is supposed to work on all paints , no matter the car and the paint. I was interested until my wife said ” Lets check with Google. Well! Nobody said it worked. I got three answers 1. “Left a dull patch” 2.” Some paint removed scratch still “.never answered with money back” Do not waste your money
A and W grass fed beef
It appears that ” A and W” which all would recognize as a purveyor of hamburgers has made a big deal about its cows which all should know now, is fed a diet of grass. Don`t ask me what they were fed before, but the diet before grass made A and W probably near the top of hamburger sales. The ad shows a well recognized figure to their ads in a booth asking their customers how they likes the hamburger they were eating They answered very positively The meat they were ingesting came from cows fed grass, before they were used as grass meat. So I assume they were left out to graze in a pasture. I do not patronize any special hamburger company but will state that the best hamburgers are made by my wife. She cuts up onion and mixes the meat with raw eggs and adds some garlic and salt and pepper. But the ad company had to find a way to differentiate A and W hamburgers and came up with cows fed grass. And our public went for this nonsense . Or I think they did.
