ISRAEL IS AT WAR WITH HAMAS (NOT THE PALESTINIANS)
Who cares about Israel`s safety. Primarily the Jews all over the world and the Israeli citizens both Jewish and some, maybe the majority of Palestinian Muslim Israeli citizens living peacefully in Israel. Hamas self-interest governs all and their hatred for the Jews is so intense that Hamas Palestinians do not care how many Palestinians they kill in Gaza with Israeli bombing in order to pass on to their own people the hatred they feel for the Jews. Many Israeli Palestinian citizens have relatives in Gaza That was the purpose of the obvious Hamas attack, not hidden in any way to get Israel to bomb Gaza. The problem is so clear. It is not the ordinary Palestinian Gazan that did the killing but paying the price of the demolitions To kill is easy To separate supporters of Hamas from ordinary Gazans not so.
Anti-semitism has no borders and recently Jews who feel they are safe in North America have felt the obvious. In Canadian cities , most recently in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax, Regina, Montreal, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Victoria. There have been demonstrations, mostly peaceful ,in the above cities in support of Israel and the Palestinian Gazans. Why do Canadian Jews care. It is obvious that immigrants from the Muslim world, rightfully so, care about Gazan Palestinians and Jews in Canada feel the same way about Israel. After the second world war Jews escaping Europe had no safe haven, literally anywhere. Where to escape to if necessary? Israel is important for Jews to know it exists, and can be a safe haven
Universities in Canada and the USA have held demonstrations in support of Hamas. There are many Muslim students today in North America and right and wrong is not part of the equation. They attend many universities and support their own people. I might add, if I were a Palestinian I would support their cause, but not their despicable massacre, of Israeli people who had nothing to do with the bombing of the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza even though immediately after the event Israel was blamed’. The IDF has proven to the world ,but not the Arab states ,that a bomb sent by Islamic Jihad from Gaza probably caused the tragedy.
The Jews of the world, right now, have a major problem. When Israeli rockets hit Gaza the chances are they kill innocent Palestinians. But what to do. Hamas is a legitimate government in Gaza except of course they won one election only. As a young Jew I remember how many times we prayed for the safety of Jerusalem and after 1948 for the life of the Israeli state. For our own safety Jews worldwide must do what they can to save Israel from a battle that will desperately hurt their reputation. When Israel was born I cannot remember a time that the U.J.A. did not send our donations overseas to help the state. Worldwide Jews must send money to the Palestinians individually. I say individually because if the money goes to Hamas it will be used to kill Israelis. I am an idea man but not a detailed thinker. If the Palestinian people are receiving money from the Jews worldwide why would they keep Hamas as a government. This is not a problem with a simple answer. At this time Israel should not send troops into Gaza. Their intelligence area of government failed them miserably on October the 7th. Hamas prepared well to attack and I am sure has prepared well for the Israeli army to enter Gaza This is a trap. Avoid it with money sent to individual Palestinians to help them to a much better life funded by Jews worldwide .The Palestinians will change and help us get rid of the disease HAMAS. Remember my words when I started this blog. Self-interest trumps all. Jews world wide must help the Palestinians so that if antisemitism grows , as it is now, we have a place to go. REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE SECOND WORLD WAR. Nobody would accept us. The TWO state solution is the only answer if we want a permanent Jewish state. Yes, the Jews were there maybe a thousand years ago. So what! There are approximately 20 million there now. What to do is the problem. Two states is the answer.
