FREE SPEECH WORKS FOR ALL MINORITIES–NOT JEWS

The bastion of free speech is the university and it seems to work for all except Jews. Recently , a rhetoric and composition professor at Oberlin College posted widely anti-Semitic and anti-Israel content on her personal Facebook page. She came up with ridiculous accusations that Mossad was the perpetrator of the Charlie Hebdo slaughter in France, ISIS was concocted by the CIA-MOSSAD collaborations, the Malaysian airline was shot down by the IDF. And of course the ideas that the Jews secretly controlled the world though money oil, and the media. There is not an iota of evidence to back any of her allegations. But there are enough anti-Semites around to back, and accept these allegations.

Some students called for her dismissal but the president of the college Marvin Krislov a Jew himself defended this sick professor. He said that he understood the pain that this article caused but she had the right to express “personal views” This Jewish president said that these anti-Semitic views, had harmed many members of the Jewish community, but because of free speech should be tolerated. Is he sick?. Recently, when a professor at St Lawrence College in Ontario posted homophobic remarks on his Facebook page he was fired. No questions asked. At the university of Kansas a professor used the “n” word even though it was in the context of white privilege, she was suspended. Is there a double standard here? Would Oberlin president have acted if the remarks were against Homosexuals or Negros. I believe so!
